pretty type books
What to do when sitting at home with a bung hip? (and you've already gone around the corner for a chai latte and watched Oprah)...search for cool fonts on the net. There is this one amazing font that has been eluding me for a couple of years now, but on my continued quest today I found some inspiration at a boutique book publishing house in NY that at least has some very nicely executed font based books to admire...visit them here.

vintage bookworm
It's funny how stumbling across the raggedy cover of a children's book can transport you back to the exact time and place you were last reading it...for me it was often between the illustrated bed sheets at my Grandmother's house after jelly and icecream. Now I'm sure it's probably terrible etiquette to blog about a blog, but if you'd like a good quality trip down memory lane I suggest you visit www.vintagechildrensbooksmykidloves.com. I gasped aloud at the sight of 'Love is a special way of feeling', i book I read til it disintegrated. Warm fuzzies guaranteed.

must- reads for creative types
Waiting for my amazon package to arrive was almost too much to bare...but the relief of plopping down in front of the heater and having a greedy first flick through these design books, their fresh paper aroma filling the apartment...well, i can only encourage you to treat yourself to the same!
